Role: Salesforce Developer 

Location: Dallas, TX 

Pay:$75,000.00 – $90,000.00+full benefits, certifications, and training 

Authorization:

Experience: 7-8 Years 

 

Overview: 

 

The Salesforce Developer will work closely with the Salesforce Solution Architect and admins on the overall analysis, architecture, design, implementation, and support of multiple organizations in Salesforce.com. This requires the ability to develop and support applications using Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Visual Force and the Force.com platform. As a Salesforce Developer, you will communicate with the business to ensure timely and effective delivery of Salesforce solutions for the business requirements. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with business analysts and developers to produce software designs. 
  • Formulate program specifications and basic prototypes. 
  • Transform software designs and specifications into high functioning code in the appropriate language. 
  • Act as a subject matter expert for Salesforce Admin, development, integration, and Lightning. 
  • Expertise implementing in both Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. 
  • Integrate individual software solutions to higher level systems. 
  • Use web-based tools to create and advance applications. 
  • Salesforce Development/Customizations (APEX, Visual Force, API, Workflows) 
  • Test code to ensure it produces the desirable results and perform debugging when necessary. 
  • Perform upgrades to make software and systems more secure and efficient. 
  • Provide application support and assistance on resolution of issues. 
  • Collaborate with technical writers to create documentation for user support. 
  • Attend and participate in meetings and working sessions. 
  • Document all Apex coded elements in all Salesforce applications. 
  • Complete assigned duties according to project plans and schedules 
  • Document assessment of risks associated with the migration based on developed and configured elements. 
  • Other new Apex development tasks as defined by the project team and assigned by project leads. 
  • Provide new API development as defined by the project team and assigned by project leads. 
  • Provide unit testing of Apex and Salesforce developed and configured elements. 
  • Support Quality Assurance goals through writing regression test scripts and/or programming as necessary 
  • Provide support of and participation in troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise. 
  • Plan and execute mitigation strategies for project risks. 
  • Adhere to Client time reporting and time management standards. 
  • Adhere to documented project team rules and norms. 

 
Minimum Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years' experience in Developer/Programmer role 
  • A Master's degree substitutes for three years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree substitutes for two years, or an Associate's degree substitutes for one year. 
  • 2 engagements lasting more than six (6) months in Developer/Programmer role using Salesforce. 
  • 4 years' experience with Apex Development in Salesforce 
  • 4 years' experience with the Salesforce Platform and performing configuration. 
  • 3 years' experience developing API’s. 

 
Desired Skills: 

  • Delivery of projects using the Agile SCRUM methodology 
  • Lightning and Lightning Component experience preferred. 
  • Detail-oriented and excellent concentration ability 
  • An analytical mindset and critical thinking 
  • Demonstrable ability to discover and fix errors in code. 
  • Strong communication skills 
  • Ability to work independently and in team settings.
