What would you do?

Job Description: Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant

Location: Washington DC (4 days onsite in a week)

Seeking a hands-on Salesforce Consultant to work onsite with our customer-facing team. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in Salesforce Service Cloud and Experience Cloud, strong requirements-gathering capabilities, and the ability to translate business needs into solution designs and user stories. This role includes functional and production support, deployment activities, and customer enablement.

Key responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze business requirements; facilitate requirement workshops and create user stories from requirements
  • Configure Salesforce Service Cloud and Experience Cloud to meet business needs
  • Develop solution design documentation and detailed functional specifications
  • Provide day-to-day functional support for the in-scope Salesforce application
  • Support production enhancements and configuration changes for the application in-scope
  • Assist customer teams with training, walkthroughs, and demos for key users
  • Produce and submit Daily Status Reports to stakeholders
  • Manage deployments and migrations between development and QA orgs
  • Work within Agile methodology; participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Required qualifications and skills

  • Proven hands-on experience as a Salesforce Consultant focused on Service Cloud and Experience Cloud
  • Strong experience running requirement workshops and converting requirements into user stories
  • Experience configuring Salesforce Service Cloud and Experience Cloud features and components
  • Ability to produce clear solution design and functional documentation
  • Experience with deployments and migration processes across orgs (development QA production)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Salesforce Administrator certification plus Service Cloud and Experience Cloud certification(s) are required

Preferred qualifications

  • Prior experience working in Agile environments
  • Experience supporting production Salesforce applications and handling enhancements in live environments
  • Experience delivering customer training and user enablement sessions

Working conditions

  • Onsite role (location details to be provided by the hiring team)
  • Full-time assignment with regular collaboration with customer stakeholders and project teams
