Agile professionals define an adaptive model based on greater collaboration and communication between teams; Agile is a cultural change that impacts people, processes and tools in different ways across the organization; based on iterative, time boxed and incremental approach, where requirements and solutions evolve through collaboration between self-organizing and cross-functional teams, Agile promotes adaptive planning, evolutionary development and delivery and encourages a rapid and flexible response to change. The Agile Consulting Manager is responsible for architecting, setting up, managing, and evangelizing the tools and processes that enable the business of software development. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the SDLC, the various points at which development could be improved by better tools, automation, or process improvement, and metrics that can be gathered to improve management of developers involved.
•Minimum of 5 years of experience with agile development (SCRUM, Kanban, etc) and within an agile project team (either Agile by definition or Agile in ability to perform cross-functional tasks quickly) – balance multiple projects and collaborating closely with other development teams
•Certified Scrum Professional/Master with a minimum 5 years of experience leading scaled Agile and transformational cross-functional IT initiatives for Fortune 500 enterprises.
•Minimum of 5 years of experience in SDLC Automated Build Processes, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration and Delivery, and the associated software toolsets (Examples: Maven, Jenkins, Puppet, interfaces to Rally, etc.)
•Minimum of 3 years’ experience applying Agile scaling frameworks in large organization at the program and portfolio level
Preferred Technical Experience and Certifications:
•Well versed with software development life cycle (SDLC), Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, ITSM, PMI – PMBOK, Six Sigma, CMMi methodologies
•Significant agile coaching/mentoring experience when embedded within the agile team.
•Experience with training teams on the use of ALM tools (Portfolio structures, user stories, iterations, releases, etc) and KPI/metric dashboards in Rally
•Framework/Methodology: Agile, Scrum, TDD, SDLC, PMBOK, Waterfall, Iterative, ITIL, JAD, Six Sigma and CMMi
•SAFe Scaled Agilist
•Certified in ITSM - IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation
