Title: Scrum Master
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Scrum Master / Kanban Flow Manager is a valuated team member that facilitates the development of software and help an Agile Software Development Team in delivering the product increment. As an Agilist expert he is responsible for continuing coaching, training and mentoring the organization. Here are some of the activities in a common day:
Facilitate Ceremonies (E.g. Daily Stand-Ups, Retrospectives, Planning, Sprint Review, Refinements).
Educates and coaches Product Owner and Development team to adopt the best suitable Agile Mindset, practices and framework.
Removes impediments for the teams.
Facilitate discussion, decision making and conflict resolution.
Contribute on spreading Agile culture in the company.
Collaborates with Program team / ART with other type of Agile activities such as program increment planning events, address program risks and impediments, metrics or documentation generation and coach or train other teams.
Required Professional Expertise:
At least two years of experience in the role practicing Scrum or Kan Ban. Must know and ready to work on both frameworks. With demonstrated ability to form and manage self-organized, self-directed teams successfully
This experience includes working in Agile environments with Software Development teams
Understands the Software Development Lifecycle, concepts and practices
Strong English communication skills verbal and written, especially confident working in a global and remote environment
Ability to understand an organization or business domain processes or systems
Ability to coach teams and deal with different type of personalities
Ability to work and build effectively global teams and with multi-cultural team members
Strong knowledge on Scrum, Kanban, Lean Software Development, Xtreme Programming frameworks techniques, artifacts, and concepts. (e.g. work item types, metrics, velocity, throughput, cycle time, lead time, estimation techniques, story writing, Gherking, etc).
Is knowledgeable on any of these tools Jira, RTC or TFS tools
Holds any or similar recognized certification:
Scrum Master, Kanban Management Professional or another Agile recognized certifications (e.g. PMI-ACP, CSM, PSM, KMP, SAFe Agilist, SAFe Scrum Master)
Experience working under SAFe, LeSS, Nexus or any other Scaled Agile Framework.
