Job Description

  • The primary purpose of the Security Administrator / Staff Specialist is to serve as the Identity and Access Management (IAM) Lead on all bank projects and implementations, as well as the subject matter expert on project, application, and infrastructure teams to enhance the security posture for the company's information systems. The Security Administrator / Staff Specialist enforces all Bank security policies and department procedures to ensure the safety of Bank information systems assets, and prevent intentional harm or inadvertent access. This position requires expert knowledge of Active Directory, user authentication and authorization methods, user provisioning, Cloud and IAM platforms, as well as Privileged Access Management solutions. The Security Administrator / Staff Specialist works within a highly regulated environment (e.g. SOC2, ICFR, FFIEC, NIST Cybersecurity regulations and standards).
  • The Security Administrator / Staff Specialist is a critical detective and protective position within IAM. This position is responsible for maintaining the Bank's standards for Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability for all information and computing assets.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead support and development resource for IAM platforms and solutions.
  • Develop and maintain installation, design, and configuration procedures and documentation for department applications.
  • Research, remediate, and reply timely and accurately to IAM issues submitted via Customer Service tickets, in agreement with bank operating level agreements.
  • Lead project teams and provide recommendations on the appropriate IAM security controls and solutions required for successful solution implementations.
  • Develop security reports which monitor security changes per established security audit controls and provide department metrics.
  • Enforces security policies and procedures by administering and monitoring security profiles, reviewing security violation reports, and investigating security exceptions.
  • Identify and analyze risks associated with IAM application security exposures and provide solutions to eliminate or reduce these exposures. Rotating on-call during non-bank hours in compliance with bank operating level agreements.
