Duration: Permanent, Direct-Hire

The Enterprise Applications group is responsible for leading, delivering, and supporting enterprise application solutions for the company. The Sr. Technical Manager of Enterprise Applications Development is accountable for portfolio management, resource management, and development and delivery of projects. She/he will build and mentor high performing teams, manage work and balance priorities, and mature software development, application, and project life-cycle practices. The Sr. Manager will be a strong hands-on leader for initiative analysis, solutioning, development, testing, and deployment to ensure value is achieved for Business/IT partners through project results. The individual will provide leadership to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment and actively collaborate with operations/support, project management office, enterprise architecture, technology infrastructure, and other Business/IT groups.

  • Manage, mentor, and optimize employee and vendor resources, on/remote/offshore, and set and/or adjust team norms to satisfy project staffing, skills requirements, and delivery commitments.
  • Work closely with PMO, Architecture, NextGen, Infrastructure, Business and vendor teams to ensure projects follow SDLC and PLC and are delivered on-time and on-budget, with quality.
  • Provide consultative leadership, Service-Oriented/Event-Driven Architecture and re-usability perspectives, and improvement opportunities with people, process, and technology.
  • Proactive in the identification, analysis, communication, and resolution of concerns that may negatively impact a project or initiative; seeking innovative means to remove/overcome obstacles.
  • Formalize and mature policies, tools, standards, methods, and development and delivery practices with documentation, communications, and training; measure and continuously advance overall performance.
  • Manage a team of a 10+ developers onsite, remote, and offshore. Setting goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with company's plans and vision. Organizing workflow and ensuring that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks. Monitoring employee productivity and providing constructive feedback and coaching.

  1. 15+ years of experience who has come through the ranks
  2. Cloud experience
  3. API integration platform (MuleSoft or similar)
  4. CRM (Salesforce or similar)
