Join the Personalization team as a Senior Software Engineer focusing on Backend. The Personalization team delivers custom content tailored to the individual, enabling users to take charge and make the most of their healthcare. Working within a team comprised of diverse skills, you will build systems that are highly scalable and performant, delivering content across several web and mobile platforms.
Primary Responsibilities:Architect and build scalable systems, libraries, and frameworksDevelop APIs and web microservicesIntegrate third-party APIs, and the ability to understand them in several formatsArchitect and build scalable systems, libraries, and frameworksWrite backend code using ScalaExplain, Socialize and Vet designs internal and external stakeholdersIdentify, design and lead resolution areas for technical maturation across Personalization code baseEstablish, educate and extend design patterns

- 4+ years of real industry experience in Backend software development
- 4+ years coding experience with Scala, Java or other compiled language
- 4+ years of experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and caching
- Commercial experience with distributed, high-performance systems
- Experience with cloud-based services and hosting (AWS and/or Azure)
