About the Position
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will report to the Marketing Analytics Manager. Together, we will help build self-service reporting and pursue important takeaways that bring value, fuel marketing investment and campaign optimization. We will use a healthy mix of creativity, business statistics, data wrangling, automation, and strong critical thinking to thrive.
Soft skills are key as you partner with others and tell stories with data. A successful Senior Business Analyst will have the opportunity to guide meaningful analytical projects from A to Z and be placed at the forefront of the impactful decisions guiding marketing's growth. You will:Build processes that automate reporting of critical metrics in Marketing. A combination of front end and backend tools will be utilized.
Adopt a comprehensive customer touchpoint data strategy, that includes online & offline, to enable end-to-end measurement of campaigns and marketing attribution.
Own performance reporting and analysis for always-on lifecycle marketing campaigns.
Apply scientific approaches to testing and play a leading role in structuring tests that measure impact of channels, campaigns, and initiatives.
Use analytics (both descriptive and predictive) and modeling concepts to build analytical assets to drive marketing profit.
Lead hi-impact analytical projects (like customer scoring) that help build quantifiable value for the marketing department.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a field of study. Economics, Analytics, Statistics, Marketing, or Finance are preferred. Equivalent work experience in lieu of education required.
A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in marketing analytics.
Proficiency in SQL, Google Analytics, and statistics are a must.
An analytical, detail-oriented personality with an ability to think critically and creatively.
Strong social skills desired for working with partners and team members.
