Senior Business Analyst - Workforce Insights
Workforce Insights is new technology-enabled people analytics offering that is focused on changing the manner in which we engage with our Human Capital clients. Workforce Insights provides an enterprise-class, HR-focused data warehouse with a powerful analytics pipeline and visualization tools to quickly ingest and process HR data source, generate insights, and communicate results.
Work you'll do
As a Senior Business Analyst on the Workforce Insights Product Team, you will work with other BA's, product management and product development to develop requirements, wireframes, use cases, and documentation for an HR data warehouse, analytics, and visualization platform. You will work with a variety of stakeholders globally to understand the business issues they are trying to solve, create requirements and user stories to be used by product development to create and implement new reports, analytics, data sources, or other functionality. You will work with clients and project teams to understand how they use Workforce Insights and recommend improvements. You will build wireframes of reports or UI/UX for use by the development team. You will work with Quality Assurance to build quality in to the development process.
Based out of our US Delivery Centers in Lake Mary Florida or Gilbert Arizona, you will work with the Deloitte Consulting organization to design, develop and build solutions to help clients reimagine, reshape and rewire the competitive fabric of entire industries. If not local to one of these locations, we can help by providing relocation assistance depending on how far you are moving.

•Work with business stakeholders to understand the HR challenges they are trying to solve, and how Workforce Insights can help them solve them.
•Document requirements, features, and user stories in MicroFocus ALM Octane that specify how the solutions will be built
•Understand HR business issues and how data, reporting, and analytics can be used to solve them
•Apply "data journalism" to tell stories with HR Data that help HR resources and their business partners improve the impact of their workforce
•Work with data scientists to leverage predictive model insights into our designs and solutions
•Develop wireframes, process flows, and supporting documents for use by product development in implementing the solutions
•Work with customer advisory boards to understand their needs and build them in to the backlog
•2+ years of experience in HR, HR Software, and/or HR Software development
•Strong knowledge of HR business processes, HR reporting, HR KPIs, etc.
•Demonstrated experience working as a Business Analyst in an agile software development life cycle, including experience with writing use cases, journey maps, user stories, etc., preferably within ALM Octane
•Experience with HRMS systems and data models - SAP, Oracle, SuccessFactors, Workday or other HR system - experience with using HR systems, and with data conversion, data quality, data migration, reporting, or other aspect of the data model desired
•Knowledge of HR data warehouse and/or data lake concepts
•Knowledge of AWS architecture, particularly data and analytics architecture and Redshift
•Comfortable working in a collaborative, virtual environment, providing and accepting continuous feedback and support across multiple teams
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Internet applications
•Excellent writing skills and ability to communicate effectively
•Excellent organizational skills - must be able to multi-task
