Senior Cloud Software Developer
Our client is hiring a Senior Cloud Software Developer for their team in Beaverton, Oregon.
Senior Cloud Software Developer Responsibilities
As a Senior Cloud Software Developer, you'll bring a passion for building and delivering the software services and platforms that power the premium digital experiences which engage consumers across all internal brands and categories.
Working closely with internal and external development teams, you'll bring not only deep technical skills, but also the ability to coordinate multiple streams of technical and software development work.
You will design and implement custom software working closely with internal software product teams.
Your systems will provide valuable data insights to marketing teams.
You will take new features presented to you as user stories by your Product Owner, work with team members to devise and construct a solution, participate in a peer code review process, provision cloud infrastructure for the solution, participate in a DevOps mode of supporting the solution in production, and ensuring that high quality code and software development practices are followed.
Senior Cloud Software Developer Qualifications
Minimum 4 years testing and building enterprise-class applications in Java.
Dedication to writing automated software tests- unit, integration, and performance using tools like Junit.
Experience designing and testing RESTful APIs for business-critical production systems.
Expert in Java 10+ and Spring Framework configuration and principles.
Expert in Integration design patterns (channels, routing, transform, polling, events, proxy).
Strong experience deploying and supporting high volume, transactional, production systems in AWS.
Able to diagnose and pinpoint defects at all application tiers using tools like Splunk, New Relic and CloudWatch.
Working knowledge of how to use source control systems like GIT.
Strong understanding of how to best verify APIs and ensure quality.
Four-year Computer Science degree or equivalent experience.
Well-versed and committed to Agile methodology.
Experience working with content management systems (CMS).
Strong understanding of Unicode standards and text storage and versioning tools.
Experience with provisioning and configuration of AWS services like RDS, S3, EC2, Lambda, ElasticSearch.
Strong desire to participate in peer review process to ensure code quality.
Familiarity with release management best practices that lead to continuous integration using build tools like Jenkins.
Demonstrated ability to automate testing to improve software quality using tools like Sonar.
Interest in video, sports, athletes, sportswear.
