Our client, a leader in the Las Vegas MSSP community, is looking to grow their team! This is an established company with a reputation of excellence. Their clients run the gamut from small business to enterprise. If you are an experienced desktop support technician or system administrator, who is also a creative thinker, and enjoys working with people from various industries, we would love to talk with you!

What is an MSSP? If you don’t already know, this might not be the position for you, as a background supporting multiple client environments is what we are looking for! This is typically Monday – Friday with an on-call rotation between you and your fellow techies. Your time will be spent either in the office, or at the client sites, so maintaining reliable transportation and insurance is an absolute must!

This position is for the techs who like getting in the weeds. You will be hands-on, and when deep in projects, you may put in more time than usual. A passion for seeing things through, while providing top-notch customer service is absolutely necessary! These skills cannot be taught, so if this is at the core of who you are, please keep reading!

You’ll spend your time:

  • Installing, maintaining and insuring optimal uptime of network hardware and software; PCs, laptops, applications, VoIP phone systems and other IT or AV equipment
  • Performing hardware and software updates and upgrades
  • Administrating Windows Server, Active Directory and Office 365
  • PowerShell scripting for automation of tasks for updates and patches of OS and Applications along with documentation
  • Assisting your tech team with support tasks as needed

In addition to the skills above which can’t be taught, you’ll also need the following:

  • 3+ years of experience with Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP
  • Must have relevant work experience with: LAN/WAN hardware and software, PC, printer, server hardware and software
  • Must be well versed in Office 365 and PowerShell scripting
  • Must be able to think quickly and adapt quickly to flow of business needs
  • Must be able to work in a team and inspire increased productivity from team mates
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills required
