Your Role

The Senior User Experience Strategist directly influences and champions UX strategy across multiple lines of business. You ensure the team is creating useful and usable experiences while looking to evolve and innovate with experiences. You collaborate closely with Product Managers, designers, and technologists to influence the direction of an experience (or to create new products, services, and experiences). This individual has deep knowledge of multiple UX disciplines, ensuring that the experiences being created for our users are cohesive, connected and deliver against a larger, holistic UX vision.

The UX Strategist, Senior will report to the Senior Manager - UX Strategy & Content. You will work across every stage of the product development lifecycle to ensure that UX strategic objectives are being achieved. In this role you will use your expertise in enterprise collaboration to facilitate strategic UX methods. You will identify target audience and objectives, analyze needs, influence scope and interface strategies for current and future digital product designs.

Your Work

In this role, you will:

  • Demonstrate fluency of design strategy tools and techniques to measure success, present opportunities, and support decision-making and prioritization utilizing research and data to drive decisions.
  • Deeply understand the needs, pain points, behaviors, and emotions in the user journeys in the context of the digital and broader brand and be a key user advocate in the digital organization.
  • Practice and help evolve the team's strategy techniques and toolset to work effectively in cross-team collaboration.
  • Facilitate strategic UX methods and activities including design thinking, service design blueprinting, journey mapping, user flow mapping, and other UX and product definition methods. Answer critical business questions through design thinking and rapid prototyping.
  • Combine feedback from research and design efforts into actionable, key themes and strategies that are shared widely across product teams.
  • Provide input on the definition, scope, and prioritization of UX tasks in collaboration with fellow UX and product team members. Engage in portfolio prioritization to help set the strategy and roadmap for the team. Establish strong relationships across enterprise with partners in IT, Brand, Marketing, Product, Innovation, etc.
  • Work with leadership to define reporting and measurement metrics focused on project and usability goals.
  • Good knowledge in understanding how functional user experiences areas - user research, interaction design, visual design and content strategy/design - combine for optimal solutions.
  • Strong track record of innovation in several areas.

Your Knowledge and Experience
  • Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Requires at least 5 years of prior relevant experience
