We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer (Mobility) to join a growing Advanced Technologies and Analytics Cyber Security Company located in Arlington, VA.
We are searching for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer (Mobility) to research and develop next-generation mobile security and networking architectures.

Actively participate in and lead portions of the design, build, test, and implementation phases of research programs focused on advancing security and privacy in mobile platforms
Become intimately familiar with all aspects of what goes on inside of today's smartphones, including the hardware, kernel, drivers, firmware, framework, and apps
Design and develop custom software solutions for both prototype and production-level systems
A strong foundational knowledge of computer science and software/systems engineering
Fluency in Java programming language
In-depth experience with mobile or embedded hardware platforms
Experience with wired and wireless networking protocols and hardware (e.g. TCP/UDP, Ethernet, 802.11, and Bluetooth)
Experience developing for Google Android or other mobile operating systems
Experience working as part of small R&D teams composed of researchers, engineers, and scientists
Experience delivering software/systems across the lifecycle including research prototypes, alpha/beta releases, and production version
The successful candidate will have:
A bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or related scientific domain.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Familiarity with standard software engineering processes and tools (e.g., git and JIRA).
5 years professional experience as a researcher, engineer, or scientist.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance
Nice to haves:
An advanced degree (Masters or Ph D.) in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, or related scientific domain
Experience building and modifying Android or other mobile operating systems
Experience developing secure solutions and products, including practical knowledge of symmetric and asymmetric cryptography its uses
Cybersecurity domain experience and knowledge
An active DoD security clearance
