Job Description

This is a 50:50 support + development role. You will work with a global and multinational team that works around the clock, supporting a highly customized back-office deployment of Magento in B2C and B2B ecommerce space. Apply if you are an explorer and a proactive learner, can hit the ground running, have noticeable troubleshooting skills, and are very proficient at communication. You will take analytical and technical online assessments before interview.

 

Must have skills:

  • Magento 2 [1+ years]
  • PHP & MySQL/MariaDB [3+ years]
  • GIT [2+ years]
  • LAMP stack [2+ years]
  • Linux vim/grep/tail/find/etc.
  • Troubleshooting (logs/code)

 

Good to have skills:

  • B2C and B2B ecommerce
  • Javascript/CSS
  • RabbitMQ
  • Redis

 

Support Responsibilities:

  • Develop understanding of existing architecture, business logic, features and functionality to provide support to staging and production deployments
  • Manage load balanced application servers and DB clusters: monitoring, maintenance, performance tuning, patching and upgrades
  • Work independently as well as closely with Magento team members
  • Communicate with multiple teams for internal and external support tickets directed to Magento team

 

Development Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement and test innovative features and heavily loaded Magento modules
  • Troubleshooting and optimization of application code base and database schemes
  • Participate in code reviews and keep abreast with new and changing features
  • Actively assist in improving usefulness and functionality of existing system
