Job Description

CoStar's Land team is currently seeking a full-time .NET Full Stack Software Developer in our Austin office where you will be responsible for designing,
developing and troubleshooting high performance and high availability web applications that will drive the growth of our Land business unit. In this role you
will:
  • Use React, Typescript, C#, ASP.NET Core, TFS/Git, Sass/CSS, SQL and JavaScript, and a host of other technologies to design, develop, test,
  • debug and implement web APIs, web applications, software tools, and utilities
  • Determine systems software design requirements
  • Ensure that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency
  • Help transition from current systems to new large scale systems that are aligned with CoStar's software engineering policies, standards and
  • procedures
Major Responsibilities:
  • Analyze technical requirements and design new components, web pages and controls to meet functional, performance and availability
  • requirements.
  • Design ASP.NET Core MVC based applications using React, Typescript, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript that are highly performant, maintainable
  • and reusable.
  • Design and develop using software design patterns to attain high reusability and maintainability.
  • Apply software design patterns, sound quality management methods, tools and techniques to create and support defect-free application software
  • that meets the needs of the organization
  • Develop database stored procedures and SQL scripts
  • Maintain and support existing products.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of development experience in business environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of SOLID principals and design patterns
  • Knowledge of C# 5+, ASP.NET MVC and .NET
  • Knowledge of React and/or SPA architecture
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Javascript ES6, Typescript, HTML5/CSS
  • Demonstrated knowledge of TSQL and stored procedure development (Experience with ElasticSearch a plus)
  • Experience with software testing (Unit, Integration, Functional, Performance)
  • Experience with Visual Studio or VS Code, Azure Devops, and Git
  • Awareness of emerging technologies and a natural curiosity around new tools and techniques
  • Experience working within an Agile team environment
