The Franklin Institute, the most visited museum in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, seeks a highly skilled Senior IT Business Analyst. This key position requires a highly motivated individual with leadership abilities, capable of developing requirements and keeping teams and projects on track and within budget and scope. The individual will be a key contributor to the implementation and management of Visitor Experience, CRM, Education/Programs, and other enterprise applications within The Franklin Institute. This is a critical role responsible for business needs gathering and prioritization, process development and improvement. The Analyst will act as a liaison between business partners, vendors and implementation partners and other IT team members to ensure services deliver value to the organization. This position will play an integral role on the IT team by recording and documenting user stories, test plans, configuring systems and performing testing for successful implementations. This position will coordinate closely with team members inside and outside of IT to ensure successful, on-time, on-budget, and on-scope delivery of information technology-related initiatives at The Franklin Institute.
Requires Bachelor's degree or higher in IT related field or relevant industry experience plus 7+ years' experience with business analysis for full lifecycle of services. Must be highly self-motivated and directed with an eagerness to learn new skill sets and apply them towards project and team success. Individual must possess excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills. Additionally, must have understanding of Point of Sale / Transactional systems, CRM, Finance, workflow automation, lead/opportunity management, data quality, event management, customer service, and web site lifecycles. Individual must be able to communicate effectively with business partners, executives and internal teams on projects and throughout the service lifecycle. Strong oral and written skills a must, and ability to work independently or in a team environment and meet project deliverables and deadlines. Must be able to communicate ideas effectively to internal teams and external vendors.
