The Highlights

The Senior Manager of Business Application Analysis Operations is responsible for overseeing the business and systems analysis activities to ensure business problems are addressed and solutions are implemented.

In this role, you will function as the liaison between business operations functional groups impacted by a particular initiative (i.e., new products, services, processes, support technologies, regulations). You will manage the team of business and systems analysts to assess, capture and document the business or "user" needs into detailed business and technical requirements.

What you will do

  • Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the client experience
  • Lead a team of analysts responsible for system configuration, user maintenance, audits, data integrity, data governance of Salesforce and other custom-built applications
  • Lead and direct the Salesforce System Configuration team, which supports the continuous improvement and processing of enterprise client sales and orders and is specifically responsible for Salesforce system configuration, user maintenance, audits, data integrity, solution building and break/fix
  • Analyze system interdependencies, requirements and risks, as well as risk mitigators that could impact or be impacted by the delivery of new products, services, processes and support technologies -- including assessment and communication of the impacts, system changes and outages
  • Support the integration of new products and services, regulatory requirements, tools, technologies and markets into existing operations
  • Ensure all defined business rules and policies are documented and implemented as designed
  • Ensure process enablers are working as designed (automated as well as manual)
  • Ensure available technology is leveraged to the fullest extent
  • Redesign business process where applicable to leverage available or new technologies
  • Oversee the translation of high-level business requirements into functional specifications and then ensure they are translated to technical specs for configuration and deployment
  • Develop and maintain a library of functions specifications via change management processes
  • Function as the liaison between the business unit and other supporting functional organizations (IT, OSS, billing, third-party suppliers) to properly interpret and deliver to the functional specifications
  • Ensure alignment between the business operational strategies and technical solutions
  • Carry out other duties as needed
Required keys for success
  • Seven or more years of business operations analysis experience
  • Five or more years of project management experience
  • Five or more years of telecommunications experience
  • Five or more years of Salesforce system administration configuration
  • Oracle Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) experience
  • Knowledge of process and project management
  • Knowledge of general accounting and billing procedures
  • Cross-functional management skills
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data
  • Ability to quickly identify business problems/opportunities
  • Ability to define key performance indicators/metrics
  • Ability to document, prepare and present data-driven presentations
  • Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
  • Ability to show judgment and initiative and to accomplish job duties
  • Ability to supervise and motivate others
  • Ability to use personal computer and software applications such as Word, Excel and Visio

Your education
  • Masters degree in business administration or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Salesforce System Administrator certification
  • Salesforce Process Automation Specialist training
