Position Summary:


Join Fortune 7 CVS Health as a Senior Manager of IT Quality Assurance in Bloomington, MN. The Sr Manager, Quality Assurance/Specialty is a non-technical/IT role and will be responsible for the overall quality of NovoLogix and Accordant software assets.


This position is for a Software Sr Quality Assurance Manager responsible for managing Quality Assurance professionals. The ideal candidate must have a deep understanding of software quality methodology, people management and project management experience.


Job duties primarily include but are not limited to:

•Provide direction to the staff for the development of test plans, test schedule, estimates, and detailed test cases to ensure adequate test coverage.

•Balance deployment of resources as necessary to support priorities.

•Ensure effective defect management and issue resolution through all test phases.

•Manage expectations and communicating effectively with business units, IT cross-functional teams, Project Management and other support staff.

•Oversee and manage testing effort for multiple projects for a defined area of responsibility to successfully and consistently deliver high-quality software products within budget and schedule. Ensure

•Conduct day-to-day management duties including interviewing, hiring, training employees, planning and assigning work, managing team performance, provide coaching and mentoring and addressing performance issues.

•Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives or best practices to identify and implement tools and utilities that enhance testing capabilities and product quality.

•Perform other duties as required.

•Ensure all staff is provided with frequent feedback and coaching in order to meet and exceed individual and team performance goals consistently.

•Manage and encourage new ideas from staff to foster improvements through innovations.

•The Sr Quality Assurance Manager will report to the Director of Quality Assurance.




Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years in experience in various Quality Assurance roles
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a managerial capacity.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience with QA methodology and principles, tools, processes, and metrics.
  • Minimum of 3 years effective coaching and building high-performance teams skills.
  • Minimum of 3 years in role applying solid knowledge of software and hardware systems and a solid understanding of the potential use of technology solutions in a business environment.
  • Minimum of 3 years in role applying s trong project management skills, interpersonal, people skills and facilitation skills with the ability to work with a sense of urgency and attention to detail.
  • Minimum of 3 years in role applying s trong verbal and written communication skills in articulating business objectives Independent decision-making and excellent analytical skills.
  • Minimum of 3 years in role executing all aspects of the software development life cycle.


Preferred Qualifications:
Healthcare, pharma, or PBM knowledge
Strong delegation skills involving prioritizing and managing projects of various size and complexity.
Ability to work in pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Must be a team player


Education:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent experience
