As part of the Production Support Team the Senior Network Architect takes a leadership role to design, manage, and monitor the daily operation of the Local Area Network (LAN) and the Wide Area Network (WAN). Daily functions include tracking, analyzing, and resolving issues, monitoring and mitigating threats, and preparing for future needs. The Senior Network Architect maintains all network equipment including but not limited to: routers, switches, firewalls and network services (DNS, DHCP, etc.) Must be a US Citizen with an active Secret Clearance or higher
This role works within the Production Support Team to maintain an infrastructure solution that supports virtualized servers (application servers, database servers, active directory, web servers), SANs, load balancers, and various monitoring appliances for 9 remote sites throughout the world. Disaster recovery, redundancy, capacity planning and performance tuning are key functions of this role. The person in this role will identify, research and resolve technical problems while providing positive leadership within the IT organization. Technologies supported include: Cisco (ISE/PRIME/Switches/Routers), Palo Alto, Nexus, Avaya, and Kemp load balancers.
