Senior Network Engineer

We are looking to fill a Senior Network Engineering position at our Data Center in Boca Raton, Florida. We are open to a remote assignment for the right candidate. The primary responsibility for this role will be to continuously monitor network bandwidth for anomalous traffic behavior and assist customers in resolving networking issues as the highest escalation point. In addition, you will design and implement networks from concept to implementation to ensure a 99.99% uptime of the Core Cisco Network.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent work experience) in Engineering or a related field, along with at least five years of experience with managing Cisco network devices in a NOC setting. You must be able to work independently in a remote environment and possess in-depth router knowledge of Juniper JunOS, Cisco IOS and Cisco IOS-XR, Arista EOS, security policies (ACLs, firewall rules) across Fortinet firewalls and network traffic filtering. You will also require a high level of expertise and experience in Routing and Switching network protocols/tech (STP, OSPF, BGP, and VLANs), WAN technologies such as Metro Ethernet, MPLS, VPLS, Private Line connections. In addition, Knowledge/experience interfacing with fiber optic circuits/technologies including optical wavelengths and dark fiber is required.
