As we continue to grow, we are looking for Senior Network Engineers to play a key role in the company’s culture and our continued success. 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Implement high availability architecture for enterprise and provider networks.
  • Plan, design, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including routers/switches (Juniper, Arista) and firewalls/VPN (Checkpoint, Pfsense, Cisco ASA, Palo Alto).
  • Test and document network system behavior, performance, and security.
  • Assist in managing vendor and third-party relationships.
  • Design, Implement, and Maintain Monitoring/Logging related to network functions.
  • Provide expert-level technical support to customers and internal teams accordingly on data center network designs, and complex issues.
  • Develop solutions in the following areas: routing and switching, WAN optimization, QoS, application load balancer (F5), VPN technologies and network diagnostic and monitoring toolsets.
  • Develop new architectures to solve enterprise challenges.
  • Research, test and document new technologies.
  • Create and manage VPN connections or services using an IPsec protocol suite.
  • Establish standards for network hardware, network configuration and implementation, and perform periodic audits for compliance.
  • Effective documentation, communication and technical skills.
  • Research emerging technologies in support of data center and infrastructure development efforts and recommend technologies that will increase cost-effectiveness and infrastructure flexibility.
  • Create, deploy and administrate VMware and/or Vsphere technologies.
  • Design network with solutions that should be stable, secure, highly available and scalable to evolving technology/architecture whilst ensuring that network monitoring, performance and capacity management are also considered.
  • Plan and prepare Disaster Recovery and Emergency Response.
  • Participation in an on-call rotation for after-hours coverage as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 Knowledge/Skills/Experience required:

  • 15+ years of related work experience.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience with designing, engineering, and implementing data center networks and technology solutions in increasingly complex environments.
  • Bachelor's degree, additional years of experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
  • Working knowledge of F5 Big IP load-balancing, ASM, APM, BigIP-DNS.
  • Expert-level understanding of dynamic routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, IPv4, IPv6, Multicast, STP, TCP/IP, etc.)
  • Storage networking protocols: Fibre Channel, iSCSI, and NFS/CIFS, storage multi-pathing.
  • X86 hardware solutions. Rack and blade server solutions.
  • Firewalls/IPS, load balancers, and WAN optimization.
  • VMware: ESXi, vCenter, vSwitch operations, SRM (site recovery manager, etc.).
  • Excellent core routing protocol experience (EIGRP, GBP, IS-IS, STP, VTP, vPC, MPLS, OSPF, DMVPN, etc..).
  • Proven understanding of routing protocols in global enterprise WAN environment.
  • In-Depth knowledge and experience working with Junos, Arista, and Cisco network operation systems, network design, routing and switching and network equipment.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience preferred:

  • Microsoft Windows server and active directory implementation and administration. 
  • VMware Certified Professional.
  • NetApp Certified Professional.
  • Experience with network automation.
  • Experience with network tuning and performance.
  • Linux Certified Professional.
  • Juniper Network Certified Internet Professional
