Manual Test Engineer
San Ramon, CA

Exp: 8-10 yrs

Mandatory Skill:
Experience in capital markets / Buy side institutional investment banking domain experience
Capital Market / investment banking Buy side experience with exposure to Equity, Fixed income, Bonds and other trading platforms experience is a must.

Responsibilities:
Develop Manual Quality Test strategies and Test plans with the financial Software Applications to ensure successful platform deliverables;
Develop a deep understanding of our product and help build out thorough test plans;
Contribute to the development of test framework and systems;
Engage with development team enabling rapid and iterative delivery of features, fixes, issue research, etc.;
Drive bug prioritization and work cross-functionally with Project Manager, Developers and other technology teams to ensure success.

Requirements:
Experience working with complex Financial systems through the Fixed Income, Front Office and Buy Side of a trading company;
Knowledge of Testing and Regression testing for Fixed Income, Front Office and exposure to Buy Side financial systems.
Experience in Quality Engineering and QA (defect management);
Proficiency in Software Testing fundamentals, test design, and testing theory, test scripts;
Front-end and back-end testing skills;
Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment is required, including full life cycle experience - requirements gathering, implementation, testing, and release management;
Financial Services Industry experience is Required.

Technical Requirements:
Great Communication Skills to work with the Business unit as well as our Development Team
Proficiency with a financial Software product and other similar vendor systems.
Business Area: Capital Markets/Trading (Front and Middle Office) experience;
Knowledge of capital markets, the structure of exchanges, regulatory framework, Order Management & Execution Management Systems, Trade workflow;
Knowledge of primarily Multiple assets Fixed income, but a plus would be any derivatives, swaps, IRS, CDS/X, TRS/X, FX, Futures
Fundamental understanding of SQL server or Oracle; Training and Certifications: (required and desired)
- Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Finance or related discipline, or equivalent work experience is required
