The National Data Hub group provides the data and advanced analytics platforms for business solutions in the system. We work with state of the art technologies that are part of the next generation data ecosystem, which includes tools used for data storage, processing, integration, data modeling, and data analytics. Our team works with multiple business lines, and also partners closely with the National IT team, our Board, and IT groups from other districts. As our Product Architect, you will contribute to high quality technology architecture and solutions by consulting on the architecture and integration of product for the internal customer business lines. You may contribute to the architecture of a number of strategic software solutions, including defining patterns, guidelines, and standard methodologies. You will leverage your extraordinary technical knowledge and superb communication skills as you work closely with other teams to ensure the successful delivery of products across the Federal Reserve System.
In this role, you will focus on Data and Advanced Analytics initiatives. You will evangelize these initiatives to the Federal Reserve offices throughout the United States. Your ability to communicate, translate business value, and establish trusting relationships among your partners will play a key part to your success in this role.
Define roadmaps and strategy for Data and Analytical solutions on-premises and in the cloud.
You will collaborate with customers on solution architecture.
Assist in defining standard methodologies, guidelines, and architecture patterns.
You will conduct research and POCs (proofs of concept) with new technologies based on business need.
Provide consulting and guidance on business solution development in the data space using Scala/Python/Java/Scripting etc.
You will define, propose, implement and promote data and BI/DW project solutions and activities.
You will demonstrate your exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing skills to persuade our customer and gain consensus.
You will design, communicate, and enforce standards.
Help tackle and diagnose performance issues.
Assist with performance tuning and query optimization.
Implement the Master Data Management (MDM) vision and strategy.
Create and implement a Global Data Registry and catalog of product including business, technical, and operational metadata solutions.
Research and recommend new tools at for advancing the data platform.
Assist in technical writing on the architecture of National Data Hub products.
Explore data to derive business insight, and perform hands on analysis using leading technologies.
You will champion integration standard methodologies, and promote standardization and reuse principles.
You will lead technical design documentation reviews and peer reviews of design patterns and code.
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, Statistics, Data science or related field or equivalent work experience; advance degree preferred.
Seven or more years of data experience, architecting and implementing solutions in Hadoop, Massive Parallel Processing (MPP) or related experience.
Three or more years of strategic leadership work related to data and advanced analytics business capabilities, strategies, and roadmaps preferred.
Confirmed experience in presenting, evangelizing and translating the business value of AI and data to C-Suite executives and internal/external stakeholders.
Strategic and in-depth technical understanding of Data and advanced analytics architectures on premises and in the cloud.
Three or more years of hands on programming skills in JAVA or Python or Scala or other scripting language.
Experience with data security and governance.

Previous Tier 1, Big 4 consulting experience.
Experience designing and launching data related initiatives from the ground up.
Background in data security, governance and cybersecurity solutions.
Experience in AI and Machine Learning.
Knowledge with statistical analysis or econometric modeling; experiencing using statistical software such as Tableau, SAS or Stata.
Architecture experience with NoSQL Database systems.
Architecture experience with unstructured data and search experience.
