As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be predominantly involved in developing business solutions by creating new and modifying existing software applications. You will be a primary contributor in designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and supporting all types of applications consistent with established specifications and business requirements to deliver business value. Primary Responsibilities:


Design, implement and maintain Java applications within all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Develop, test, implement and maintain application software working with established processes

Communicate effectively with other engineers and QA

Establish, refine and integrate development and test environment tools and software as needed

Identify production and non-production application issues

Identify opportunities to fine-tune and optimize applications of Java developed projects

Provide technical support and consultation for Java application and infrastructure questions

Serve as a mentor to less experienced developers

Designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and supporting all types of applications consistent with established specifications and business requirements to deliver business value

Developing pioneering approaches to emerging industry trends

Contribute to development team and help to achieve key business objectives

Contribute to large, complex projects to achieve key business objectives

Collaborate with the team on application architecture design and decision-making

Design and implement application enhancements in collaboration with different teams

Solves unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business

Translates highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences

Ensuring timely deliveries for all assigned tasks as per SLA

Provide technical leadership to the team Mentor and guide them whenever required

Participation in SCRUM meetings, Design reviews, Test Case reviews, and Production Support readiness reviews for new releases

Achieves harmonious working relationships with business partners and within team

Generally work is self-directed and not prescribed

Works with less structured, more complex issues

Serves as a resource to others


Required Qualifications:


B.Tech/MCA/Graduate (Minimum 16 years of formal education, correspondence courses are not relevant)

5+ years of total IT experience

3+ years of experience working as a Java developer

2+ years of full Software Development Life Cycle experience

Technologies: OOPS, Design Pattern, Core Java/J2EE, AngularJS, Restful Web Services, Spring/SpringBoot, Maven/Gradle, Hibernate, PL/SQL, Openshift, Azure or AWS, Cloud Concepts, Jenkins

Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills

Experience of working in Agile environment

Experience of working on DevOps and related toolsets

Exposure to address security & performance Issues

Excellent written and verbal communication skills


Preferred Qualifications:


Background in healthcare industry applications development and support

Experience in cloud application development
