Description:
Our client is looking for a hands on Developer that has some ability to do technical Architecture They use .Net Core, Java script, ReactJS, and Node JS.

**This position will be 100% until at least July and then will be onsite in Princeton, Glenn Mills, Chicago, Hermitage, or Tampa.**

The client is developing world class innovative solutions that leverage the latest technologies in open source and cloud platforms and are building a team of top-notch architects and software engineers to create our next generation Big Data Analytics and Machine Learning platform.

Work you'll do:

Work with Product Owners to drive product vision, manage scope and client expectations

Design reliable, scalable, and performant end-to-end architectures - functional, data, technology, infrastructure

Provide technical support for analysis of business requirements and applicability to the current or planned platform capabilities

Experience with technical programming; capable of managing and overseeing teams designing, programming and implementing various technical solutions

Work with cross functional teams to triage issues related to reliability, availability, stability & performance

Serve as a technical liaison between the business, project team and developers/testers

Provide inputs to create Agile user stories based on business requirements

Participate in end to end testing (QAT, UAT)

Work with IT infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain application

Mentor junior development staff in the art & science of building software systems

Bring new ideas in cloud, big data, and machine learning software development

Leverage industry knowledge and stay close to technology developments in the open-source and cloud communities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams

Practice and enforce Agile and Scrum development methodologies

Required:

BS or higher degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field

10+ years Industry experience, in software architecture and delivery of software products and solutions

3+ years in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions, preferably on Azure

Familiarity with cloud native design patterns and DevOps principles (Infrastructure as Code), operational models involving active-active and geo/regional resiliency

Hands-on experience with building modern and responsive web applications leveraging JavaScript, ReactJS, Redux/Flux, NodeJS

Hands-on experience designing and building using micro-services architectural pattern, web APIs using dotnet core & C# (a major plus if experience with R and Scala)

Hands on experience in Spark and other components of Hadoop ecosystem (knowledge of HDInsight is a huge plus)

Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, design patterns & strong analytical & problem-solving skills

Working knowledge of data stores like Azure Data Lake Store and databases (RDBMS like SQL Server, NoSQL like MongoDB)

Understanding of test automation frameworks like Selenium or Karma, measuring code quality and technical debt

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, especially in the areas of reliability, availability, stability & performance

Outstanding communicator with both business and technology audiences

Knows what is possible using latest technologies (open source, data stores, algorithms, etc.)

Extensive experience working across teams and operating in an Agile Scrum culture

Experience with continuous delivery and using agile techniques

Firm sense of accountability and ownership

Passionate for making things better and driving action

Desire to understand our businesses and users

Experience with statistical platforms is a major plus, such as R, SAS, and Informatica

Experience with other visualization tools is a major plus, such as Tableau

Other Qualifications:

TOGAF Practitioner

Experience implementing SAFe - Scaled Agile Framework
