e position will be accountable for defining and setting the technology vision for designated business domains within Fallon Community Health Plan. Reporting to the Vice President of Portfolio Architecture and Governance, this role will engage both senior leaders and individual contributors within the organization to understand the business strategy and determine what technology plan needs to be in place in support of the business strategy. The Senior Solution Architect will collaborate heavily with their business partners to understand the business areas’ current capabilities and future capabilities that they want to enable. He/She will need to be able to provide guidance to the business and offer solutions that may be business process changes that do not require technology enhancements, solutions that are tactical and minimally enhance the existing systems, or solutions that are strategic and require larger projects/programs.
The Senior Solution Architect will be considered the architect lead for Fallon’s servicing value chain. This will encompass the business processes of care services, customer service and claims adjudication. He/She will establish the domain technology strategy and ensure existing and future projects align to the overall business strategy. As projects and solutions are identified, the Enterprise Architect will be defining the solution architecture visions and the specific architecture design that will be implemented by technology project.
Fallon is a roll up your sleeves organization and this individual will operate at several levels within the organization. One will be at the business strategic level, working with department heads to understand their need. The other end will be working with technical development teams and translate the specific solution architecture that is to be developed. This individual will cover multiple projects at a single time and will be required to ensure each architecture solution implemented transitions Fallon towards its desired mature state.
Ability to function well in fast-paced work environment and the ability to work on multiple time-sensitive projects concurrently are critical. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as detailed-oriented organizational skills are also required.
