CollabraLink is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to join our team. This position can be remote, with travel to HQ as needed.


The Senior Solution Architect is responsible for driving multiple customer solution projects in parallel; conducting business and technical discovery with customers; finding novel cost effective solutions, using leading edge architectures with a human centered design focus to empower customers to meet their digital transformation objectives with robust recommendations identifying critical dependencies and gaps.

  • Architect solutions on the cloud designing infrastructure and selecting viable technology stack(s)
  • Design and implement applications and systems considering various approaches for integration such as API's, micro-services, serverless, containerization and container orchestration
  • Familiarity with serverless architecture, containerization and orchestration is needed.
  • Work in an Agile environment with the CollabraLink project teams and clients to translate requirements to applications
  • Lead digital technology strategies for internal and external teams
  • Conceptualize solutions and present approach to technical and non-technical resources inhouse and clients
  • Lead multiple teams driving solution architecture, security and performance.
  • Provide mentorship to juniors and build the full stack capability within the company
  • Lead and work with DevSecOps engineers to design and implement automations as part of continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Provide support to business development team through injection of technical solutions and architectural designs
  • Support Office of Technology and recruiting efforts
  • Build communities of practice and develop leaders in the following technologies as the CollabraLink solution stack evolves:
    • Cloud: AWS, Google Cloud and Azure
    • Technology Stacks: MEAN, MERN, LAMP and Ruby on Rails
    • Front end: React.js, AngularJS, Bootstrap, Vue and Marionette
    • Back end: Node.js, PHP, Java, Python, .Net
    • Relational Databases: Oracle, MySQL, Postgres, Aurora
    • Search / Cache: Elasticsearch, Lucene, Apache Solr, Amazon ElastiCache
    • NoSQL Databases: MongoDB, DynamoDB, Cassandra, Oracle NoSQL Database
    • AI/ML: Google AI, Tensorflow, Sagemaker
    • DevOps:
      • CI Tools: Jenkins, Cloudbees, Bamboo, Microsoft Azure / TFS
      • IAC / CAC Tools: CloudFormation, Terraform, Chef and Ansible
      • Planning Tools: Jira, Confluence
      • Version Control: GIT, TFS
      • Containerization: Docker
      • Orchestration: ECS, EKS, Kubernetes
      • Automated Testing: Selenium, Fitnesse, Cucumber
      • Performance Testing / APM: JMeter, Octoperf, Splunk
      • Quality / Security: HashiCorp Vault, Codacy

Required Experience:
  • 8+ years of experience in Enterprise level and auto scaling Architectural design in cloud
  • 5+ years of experience in DevSecOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
  • 5+ years delivering using Agile and/or SAFe solution delivery
  • Experience leading a team through a full stack implementation of medium / large scale
  • Knowledge of Human Centered Design and willingness to incorporate HCD as part of technical solutions
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline
  • Azure/AWS/Google Cloud Developer or Architect Certification
  • Per Federal contract, ====ship is required.

Preferred Experience:
  • 10+ years of design and architecture experience preferred
  • 12+ years of technical experience
  • 2+ years of Federal Government contracting experience
  • 2+ years of AI /ML experience
  • Possession of excellent analytical and technical writing and communication skills
  • TOGAF Certification
  • Agile or SAFe Certification
