Work you'll do/Responsibilities
•Translate business requirements and processes into technical requirement and configuration settings specific to software application solutions
•The Senior System Administrator will focus on the performance aspects of the design and maintenance and migration of a large custom application currently hosted in a hybrid environment but needing to be re-platformed to a cloud-native environment
•Responsible for designing, at all levels, test cases, performance profiles, performance models, and performance targets and measurements for all versions of the applications
•Ability to multi-task & support multiple priorities/multiple deliverables
•Collaborate with team leads to identify gaps and constraints associated with business requirements and process and aid in providing solutions to resolve the process issues
•Deliver high quality work and adapt to new challenges, as an individual or as part of a team
•Ability to work in a team environment or as an individual contributor
Our Systems Engineering team delivers large-scale software applications and integrated systems, and assists clients with architecture design, assessment and optimization, and definition. We develop service-oriented architecture (SOA) and other integration solutions to enable information sharing and management between business partners and disparate processes and systems, and we deliver technology enablement to support CIO services transformation.
Systems Engineering professionals focus on key client issues that impact the core business by maximizing operational value, driving down the cost of quality, and enhancing technology innovation. Our teams deliver a wide range of services, including application architecture design and optimization, application modernization, business process management and solution integration, custom application design and development, and large-scale technology delivery program efforts.
•Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience
•5+ years' experience providing support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems.
•5+ years' experience managing IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems. - Provides support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
•Knowledge of Java, Cloud Native, Kubernetes, DevOps, performance tools and monitors
•Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.
•Optimize system operations and resource utilization and perform system capacity analysis and planning.
•5+ years' of providing in-depth experience in trouble-shooting IT systems.
•Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets.
•Provides support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process.
•Configures and manages Linux operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoots, maintains integrity and configures network components along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
•Support the design of systems, mission architecture and associated hardware.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

•Must be able to relocate or live in the Mechanicsburg, PA area
•Must be able to travel up to 20% (while 20% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice)
•Centers for Medicare/Medicaid systems experience
•Health and Human services industry experience
