Location:     Woburn, MA
Compensation: $90,000 - $150,000 + Excellent Benefits + Paid Relocation 

Job Description:

This Client is a rapidly growing R&D firm with specific concentrations within the defense, intelligence and military complexes. 
A national leader in specific world-class disciplines that provide a wide range of products and services that are utilized within the military and intelligence communities. 
They are currently seeking a Senior Systems / Network to support their Enterprise Infrastructure. 
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in all aspects of IT infrastructure in support of client’s enterprise across all locations. 
Strong working knowledge of the design, implementation, upgrades and operation of all of client’s infrastructure with particular strengths in Systems, Networks, Cloud Computing and Project Management.

Responsibilities:

Team member supporting Data Center/Server Rooms and Cloud operations: Hardware and software system provisioning, configuration, monitoring/alerting, and administration of Linux, Windows, VMware/vSphere and Cloud computing.
Support client Enterprise networks including routers, switches and firewalls; Collaborate and communicate with Senior Network Architect for completing networking project portfolio items.
Ensure high availability of all critical applications while meeting or exceeding Service Level Agreements (SLA)
Troubleshoot complex interactions in storage, servers, networks and databases in collaboration with other systems administrators and technical teams.
Administer computer and network infrastructure security and the associated data and access controls.
Lead, manage, and execute projects across the enterprise infrastructure with accountability for the project outcome through sound project management skills.
Support Disaster Recovery planning, implementation and operations of all client business systems a plus: propose service levels, data types, recovery point objectives (RPO) and recovery time objectives (RTO) that align with a business impact analysis outcome to meet company objectives.
Document all infrastructure, processes and procedures.
Conduct internal reviews of infrastructure components and recommendations for improvements.
Perform patch updates and vulnerability remediation of computer systems and network components.
 
Qualifications:

10+ years of progressive technical (hands-on) experience related to systems development, implementation and administration.
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related technical field preferred or equivalent experience.
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or better certification desirable.
DoDI 8570.01-M IAT/IAM Level-II Compliant Certification (such as Security+ or CISSP) a plus.
Experience with centralized authentication technologies such as Active Directory, NIS and LDAP.
Experience with network and system security administration, including operating system security configuration and account management best practices for Linux (CentOS, Ubuntu, RedHat), Window Server, Windows clients, Microsoft Exchange, and Cisco Systems equipment.
Extensive work experience as a Linux and/or Windows Administrator.
Good knowledge of at least one scripting language and automation.
Good working knowledge of TCP/IP and Microsoft networking concepts with work experience in designing, deploying and supporting Local Area and Wide Area Networks.
SharePoint, SCCM or Sophos Administration a plus.
Strong project management skills.
Strong working knowledge of IT infrastructure.
Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Customer service oriented, attentive to detail, and with strong team and collaborative mindset.
Self-starter requiring limited direction and supervision.
Flexibility in approach to finding solutions, and strong interest in learning new technologies.
Ability to communicate with end users about complex issues in easy to understand terminology.
Ability to mentor more junior members of the team.
Ability to understand and act on the customer needs and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
