MTSI is seeking a Senior Technical Advisor to serve as a senior technical advisor for the MDA Director for Engineering (DE) and MDA Systems Engineer (DE/E), addressing strategic level (National, DoD Agency) issues and solutions for DE and DE/E through the conduct of studies, analyses, and special projects as directed. This positions will be located on Fort Belvoir, VA.
Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:
Address strategic level (National, DOD Agency) issues and solutions for the Director for Engineering.
Prepare and present test and evaluation concepts, strategies, and plans.
Support BMDS test requirements and objectives development process including trace to system level assessment requirements and element program priorities, development of threat representative test scenario design and modeling, development of target system solutions to meet test requirements, analysis of test design to satisfy test requirements and objectives, and support of test working groups and Test Directorate committee efforts.
Execute activities with technical accuracy, responsiveness, timeliness, and quality for strategic planning of events in compliance with MDA BMDS test policy and Department of Defense (DOD) policy, procedures, codes, regulations, and standard operation procedures.
Travel to other sites in the U.S is required. Should not exceed 20% annually.
MS or MA degree in a scientific or engineering discipline
Top Secret security clearance.
