Experis is partnered with a healthcare insurance support provider in their search for a Project Manager to support their 2018 Analytics 2.0 project in WDC for 12 months +
The candidate will manage the integration and implementation of an analytic interface with an existing enterprise data warehouse called CCTI in order to provide external customers with robust analytical capabilities and tools that will leverage the data stored in CCTI enterprise data warehouse (EDW). The scope of the Analytics 2.0 project is to manage implementation of an analytic interface with the existing CCTI enterprise data warehouse that can combine the functions of executive information presentation, healthcare management program support, decision support and ad hoc query capability.
This project includes infrastructure build out related work that will leverage an SDLC appropriate for this type of project (requirements analysis, design, development, testing, installation, and configuration of HW/SW components). This project also includes management of support of the current architecture, security, database, network and infrastructure across all environments (DEV, PV/QA, PLT and Production) for ELT extract processing. This project also includes vendor management and use of vendor professional services to support the integration activities with identified analytical tools that will be leveraged to provide the capabilities noted above that are desired by the business stakeholders.
The work for this project involves management of cross-functional system support teams responsible for delivering technology products and services funded by the Directors Office. Span of responsibility covers large highly complex systems and vendor management for approved procurements. Ensures project is delivered on time, on budget and with quality. Manages all the system development, testing and support activities for Operations Center technology product offerings across all statements of work (SOWs) and projects that impact technology product.
Basic understanding of infrastructure data warehouses and data networks.
Basic understanding of Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) processing.Must be able to influence and partner with Functional Managers to achieve not only wins for own objectives and deliverables but also those of the broad organization.
Must be able to understand the subtleties of communication in a politically charged environment.
Proficiency in project management planning and estimation tools.
Work cooperatively on integrated team of staff to successfully address any associated risks and issues.
Preferred: 7+ years of IT Project Manager experience managing infrastructure projects that include technical support and enhancement/maintenance activities.Prior experience in managing projects that include performing ETL with a data warehouse or data mart, and including integration with other system/applications via feeds that our internal and external to the enterprise.Familiarity and experience working with mainframe data warehouse solutions offered by external vendors including solutions offered by IBM.Familiarity and experience with Ab Initio toolset to be leveraged for ETL processing.Familiarity and experience with the IBM SPSS platform, which provides a capability for advanced statistical analysis of data to support better insights with predictive analytics.
Prior experience managing projects requiring vendor integration and vendor management as part of the overall solution, and installation of HW/SW in a distributed network environment.
PMI PMP certification a plus.
AbiHealth Care Industry Experience will be a plus.
