Job Description

Robertson Technologies is searching for results oriented and self-motivated Service Desk Agents Level I - Level V to support our team in the Arlington Texas area. The successful candidate must have prior IT Service Desk / IT Help Desk operations experience. 

The role will serve as the initial point of contact and will gather and analyze information about the users issue to answer basic questions about installation, operation, configuration, customization, and usage of assigned products to determine the best way to resolve their problem. Provides technical support of hardware, systems, sub-systems and/or applications. Assists with navigating around application menus, may be required to remote into customers computer. Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, working with remote employees on a corporate network.

The Service Desk Agent is also responsible for handling requests for assistance that come through the Service Desk by telephone, ticketing system or email. These responsibilities include assessing the requestor's problem through conversation and/or accessing their system remotely, assigning priorities and dispatching or escalating support calls to Tier II Agents as required. The Service Desk also determines and tracks ticket status and resolution, and communicates problem ticket issues to both the user and the Service Desk Supervisor.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 1-3 years of prior IT Service Desk / IT Help Desk Experience
  • Experience with password reset, Windows 7 / 10 and Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Active Directory and Ticketing System and VPN

Other Requirements

  • Onsite position
  • Must perform well as part of a team under direct supervision
  • Successful completion and results of Background investigation and drug screening
  • Excellent written and verbal communications

Salary range is $25,00 - $57,500 based on experience and position
