Please note that this is a 6 months contract position.
Monitor, Investigate, Troubleshoot, Escalate and Recover batch jobs in the CA Workload Automation AE & Workload Control Center (Autosys r11).
Track and record batch job stream progress in MS Excel
Create, accept and work Incident tickets for batch related issues.
Follow established batch processes to determine next steps ( for example: Set job to Success, or, Escalate ticket to next level)
Accept and work Production Control Change Requests to make temporary changes to the normally scheduled batch flow.
Accept and work batch related Change Requests within the GSEP (Service Now) tool.
Accept and work incoming after-hours email requests for the Batch Scheduling team.
Interact with the customer, co-workers, as well as with other vendors using Instant Messaging, Conference calling, Email, Phone and other methods of communication.
Work closely with the shift supervisor to triage and escalate emergent issues.
Perform scheduled and emergent server and application recycles, backups, imports, exports by following pre-formatted tip sheets to use Autosys scripts to perform these tasks.
Experience: 1 to 3 years.
