Job Description

The ServiceNow Administrator ( Administrator ) will collaborate with platform users from internal customer teams to understand the most complex business needs and recommend, design and implement solutions. At times, this involves working closely with a Software Implementation (SI) vendor. This includes supporting the implementation of new modules, as well as continuous improvement and support for existing modules (whether directly or through support vehicles such as ServiceNow HI Support). As such, the Administrator requires a strong knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM (Request, Incident, Problem, Knowledge, Change, Service Catalog, Workflows, and Service Portal). Overseeing the implementation, integrations, testing, and documentation are a key component of the role. The successful candidate must demonstrate a high level of expertise with ServiceNow.
Education and Experience:
  • 4+ years of experience working with ITSM solutions in an enterprise environment
  • 2+ years of ServiceNow development / implementation / administrative experience
  • Optional experience working with web technologies (HTML, CSS, (including AngularJS), XML, SOAP, REST, Jelly, etc.)
  • Experience working with and manipulating Javascript as it relates to ServiceNow
  • Experience working with databases (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of data imports, data mapping, and workflow management
  • Exposure integrating internal and external (SaaS based) applications.
  • Exposure to Identity Management and Single Sign on/Active Directory integrations
  • Superior attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to understand complex business needs and adapt appropriately
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies applicable to the ServiceNow platform
  • Certified ServiceNow Administrator
  • Certified ServiceNow Implementation Specialist (optional)
  • ITIL v3/v4 Certification or equivalent practical experience
  • Ability to provide ServiceNow customization and configuration including but not limited to scripting, workflow administration, report setup, module customization, data imports and third-part software integration
  • Experience supporting , building, and administering reports, dashboards, and performance analytics data and visuals
  • Strong change management experience with clear adherence to governance between ServiceNow instances
  • Strong customer service skillset with the ability to work directly with users in the support and training of ServiceNow

Certifications
  • Certified System Administrator (required)
  • CIS HAM (Recommended)
  • CIS SAM (Recommended

Work Environment:
  • Occasional long periods of sitting and standing
  • Long periods of computer phone and technology utilization
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push or pull up to 25 lbs.
  • Position requires regular interaction with employees at all levels of the company
  • Travel requirement up to 25%
