Job Description

Role: SERVICENOW ADMINISTRATOR

The ServiceNow Administrator will provide support to the Managed Services ServiceNow Platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform day to day support, administration and maintenance of the ServiceNow multi-domain platform such as: gathering and analysis, solution design, development task management, quality assurance and release methodologies and regular maintenance
  • Resolve escalations received through ticketing system, emails, and/or phone calls in a timely manner.
  • Monitor systems integration and process automation
  • Work closely with business users to build requested items using workflows to manage processes from the client to the fulfillment teams
  • Coordinate and perform installation and testing of ServiceNow updates and new releases
  • Configure and enhance all aspects of ServiceNow such as workflow, user interface (UI), client scripts business rules, and more, utilizing out-of-the-box functionality as much as possible and only customizing when necessary
  • Establish standards and IT hygiene within ServiceNow, including maintenance routines, development standards, and code reviews
  • Experience with web technologies such as LDAP, SSO, VPN, SSL and normalization and reconciliation tools
  • Knowledge of improving performance and configuration by utilizing ServiceNow best practices
  • Strong ability to identify system deficiencies and recommend solutions and continual service improvement
  • Ability to effectively absorb information from various sources, then analyze and examine data in detail, and draw appropriate conclusions

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow platform as an Administrator on an enterprise-wide, multi-tier ServiceNow production environment
  • Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow core architecture, especially modules such as: Service Catalog, Change/Incident/Problem Management, Asset Management, CMDB, Knowledge Management
  • At least one (1) year of experience using JavaScript or HTML
  • Effective knowledge of LDAP/Active Directory, and relevant IT architecture experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Bachelor s degree
