Job Description

Staff Systems Engineer-ServiceNow REQ ID: 1034884

The Staff Systems Engineer for ServiceNow develops, administers, maintains, and supports large-scale systems and technical infrastructure that includes network, hardware, database, and system software components. You will be responsible for collaborating with and enabling product teams within infrastructure to develop and continue the growth of a multi instance ServiceNow environment with CMBD, Change, Incident, Problem, and Asset Management. As a Staff Systems Engineer, you will be a core player that participates and leads multiple efforts simultaneously and are expected to build and grow the skillsets of more junior Engineers on the team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• • 5+ years of professional experience with ServiceNow in both a development and administration capacity, preferably experience with updated ServiceNow releases such as London, Madrid, and New York

• • 5+ years of development experience with javascript (angular) and node.js

• • Proficiency in developing customizations in ServiceNow as well as adapting to future upgrades

• • Proficiency in working as part of a collaborative, cross-functional, modern engineering team

• • Proficiency in infrastructure, network, database, or security troubleshooting and remediation

• • Proficiency in installing and upgrading applications or databases and performing system maintenance

• • Proficiency with debuggers, runtime analysis, library systems, compiled programming, and software update tools

• • Proficiency in system and environment analysis, design, and optimization

• • Proficiency in monitoring the operational status and performance of, and configuring as well as tuning, systems, networks, or databases

• • Preferred proficiency in supporting a 24×7 retail operation
