Job Description

Our client is looking for an Immediate Remote ServiceNow 100% remote role.    
This is a 6 months plus Contract to hire role.  Candidates must have excellent ServiceNow technical skills because they will be leading efforts for this department.  Candidates must be either   
or only. 

Our client won't do sponsorship for perm. roles.

  
5-7 years of ServiceNow administrative/operations and ITSM suite experience required
2-3 years of ServiceNow development experience preferred
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification preferred
This individuals primary responsibility will be to provide, with minimal supervision, day-to-day ServiceNow administrative and development. Key activities include: resolving/escalating issues occurring within the ServiceNow platform and its integrated entities, development-operations procedures, platform data health analysis, platform monitoring, maintenance and upgrades, license administration, and user administration. Additionally, this individual will be expected to perform testing and development functions as part of continuous improvement initiatives and project priorities.

 

Resolve user issues including performing a detailed root cause analysis when appropriate
Own and configure platform and integration monitoring while ensuring overall system availability and data health
Draft and maintain well-written operational and procedural documentation
Configure and execute automated testing, coordinate and support user acceptance testing (UAT), and platform SDLC policies are followed
Assistant in requirements gathering and translations to actionable configurations and/or development tasks within platform best practices
Accurately estimate work efforts while assisting in backlog prioritization, release planning, and other time sensitive commitments
Drive platform and IT procedure standardizations, encourage out-of-the-box solutions, and discourage complex customizations
Train users on system capabilities, features, and platform procedures
Support the platform roadmap and Solution Architect by contributing to the development, testing, and configuration of standard or custom features
Proactively stay on top of new platform capabilities, delta exams, and certification renewals
Maintain platform health and upgrades as identified by the platform owner
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
