* * * ServiceNow Project Specialist needed for an implementation * * * 12-Month Contract in Miami or Planation, FL Area * * *

Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Successful management and implementation of ServiceNow from existing ticketing systems (Remedy)
  • Manage a large-scale project or multiple small to mid-range projects with overall responsibility for the project's success
  • Work with project sponsor(s) and the team to establish project performance goals, metrics, and baselines
  • Implement and follow Project Management Office standard methodologies, processes, and tools
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, work plans, and project deliverables
  • Guide others in the use of the methodology and tools
  • Manage and motivate project teams, plan work assignments and schedules, and ensure deliverables are completed on time and within budget
  • Guide and monitor work performance
  • Establish and maintain effective communications with team members, stakeholders, senior management, and contacts
  • Communicate project status to identified stakeholders through routine status reports and meetings
Requirements:
  • 4-8 years' experience managing ServiceNow implementations
  • 5+ years of experience and delivery oversight of small to medium-scope implementations, upgrades, and/or managed services
  • 3+ years of experience with Service Now ticket and incident management
  • Experience with process improvement, workflows, and frontend knowledge of ServiceNow required
    Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies: story creation and tracking, Sprint planning, stand up meetings and status, retrospectives for internal and external customers
  • Demonstrated analysis and problem-solving skills using innovative thinking
  • Experience with standard project management tools, methodologies, and frameworks
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and MS Project or Smartsheets and ServiceNow
Education / Training:
  • Bachelor's Degree in technology and/or equivalent work experience
  • PMP Certification highly desired
  • SCM Certification highly desired
  • ITIL Foundation certification highly desired
