Job Description

Data Systems Analysts, Inc. has an opening for a Secret Cleared SharePoint Collection Administrator (SCA) for SharePoint 2013/2016 supporting multiple dispersed Army Project Management Offices. This is an opportunity to help build and manage collaboration capabilities for the US Army Program Executive Office Program Managers. The SP Site collection managers will oversee and customize site design with the SharePoint Designer and assist in managing user permissions.

This is a full time position in Arlington / Crystal City, VA.

Job Description:
Develop and maintain out-of-the-box customization of sites, pages, workflows, web parts, libraries, lists, and metadata.
- Tasks include business requirements analysis, planning, creation, configuration, customization, checks, and remedy of issues related to SharePoint Sites and Users requirements.
- User training, provisioning, and management are also required.
- Work with a dispersed team of systems administrators, engineers, managers, and customers.

The SCA will take responsibility for the collection, analysis, validation, and documentation of a client or stakeholders business and automated needs..

* SharePoint managed metadata and content management

* The use of analytical and structured methodologies
* Using creativity to find solutions
* Effectively communicating, both internally and externally with customers
* Leading the analysis, requirements gathering, adoption metrics, and documentation of solutions.
* Conducting needs assessments interviews, business analysis meetings and understanding the process flow, communication and reporting needs of the user community and stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

* Qualified candidate will have three-years IT experience and two or more years experience managing Microsoft SharePoint content. One or more years experience with Microsoft SharePoint Designer. Work experience is required for customizing SharePoint sites, managing portal content, creating and maintaining workflows, provisioning sites and users, managing permissions, training users, and maintaining sites. Candidate should have skills implementing and maintaining information taxonomy in SharePoint. Prior experience must demonstrate proven technical skills with information systems. Candidate must be able to articulate problems and resolution, in both verbal and written forms. Proven experience must indicate a record of information security awareness and discipline in systems administration.

Desired qualifications:

* Training / certification(s) in Information Security, ITIL, Project, or Knowledge Management
* Experience supporting a US Army or other Defense Department Acquisition headquarters
* 1-2 years experience customizing Microsoft Access 2013 is desired for this position but not a required responsibility.
* Experience with JavaScript, CSS, and HTML customization using SharePoint Designer is desired but not required.
* Experience managing SharePoint permission groups using Active Directory is beneficial.
* Experience with SharePoint managed metadata is beneficial. A comprehensive understanding of designing, applying, and leveraging metadata in SharePoint is highly desirable.

Required/Desired Education & Certifications:
* Candidate must be willing to obtain or hold a current DoD 8570 qualified for the position (two parts): 1. CompTIA A+, Network+ or Security+ certification is required or within 90 days and must be current under Continuing Education (CE) rules.
2. A SharePoint Computing Environment certification (MS 77-419 or equivalent) is required within 120 days of start date.
