Under a contract with a federal agency located in Washington, DC, we have the need for a strong SharePoint Developer. This role is with Dogwood—we are not recruiters. This is an hourly or salary, full-time position. However, this role can also be set up on a corp-to-corp basis.
Due to the nature of this government contract, only US Citizens or Permanent Residents (3 years minimum) can be considered. No third party or visa candidates can be considered.
Position Summary and Responsibilities: The SharePoint Developer Dogwood is seeking will apply knowledge of computer system principles, automated data processing functions, and software languages to develop solutions to user requirements. The SharePoint Developer will need to have knowledge of and experience with Microsoft SharePoint Designer and utilize best practices. They will need to be able to develop, manage, and maintain Microsoft SharePoint portals, dashboards and all the custom web-parts needed to successfully implement them. He or she will be responsible for developing, managing and maintaining SharePoint Document Libraries, Document Sets and Lists; as well as detailed security access controls for each. They will develop and maintain complex SharePoint content types that leverage custom workflows. He or she will be responsible for developing and maintaining custom master pages and customized CSS. He or she will assist users, functional and technical activity personnel in the application, definition, and design. They will develop and maintain user support documentation. The SharePoint Developer will need to have and reflect excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in US Federal agencies and have a high awareness of customer services.
