Summary: The SharePoint System Administrator (Principle) will serve as the day to day administrator for SharePoint issues. The position will work directly with the Operations, Vendors, and Engineering to resolve technically complex SharePoint issues.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position)

  • Serve as an escalation point for all issues related to the SharePoint Environment on the Desktop solution

  • Optimize performance and availability standards by implementing appropriate technical solutions

  • Works directly with Microsoft Professional Field Engineers, Vendors, and BAE Engineering on improvements

  • Identify issues and create improvement processes to aid in the reduction of incident outage times

  • Mentors Jr. System Administrators and System Engineers

  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures including DoD STIG requirements

  • Provide On‐the‐Job training to staff, as needed

  • Develop and maintain documentation of all processes associated with administration of the sites and duties performed to support

Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

  • Bachelor's Degree and/or 12+ years work experience or equivalent experience

    Combination of 5+ years’ experience in the areas below to include:

    SharePoint Farm administration and maintenance

    Day to day sustainment of an underlying MS SQL environment

    System administration of Windows based solution

    O&S experience in SQL Server (2014 experience preferred) and/or Microsoft Server (2012 R2 experience preferred)

  • 8570 compliant (Within 90 days of hire)
  • TS/SCI with Full Scope Ploy

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Desired Experience:

    • SharePoint development to include full-trust code, client object model, REST API, app model for SharePoint

    • Microsoft DHCP/DNS Server

    • Cloud or virtual server experience

    • PowerShell Scripting
    • Possess one of the following certifications
      • MCITP; MCSA – SQL Server; MCSE; MCSA; MCTS
