Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:

Ensure timely deliveries for all assigned tasks as per SLA
Act as single point of contact for app and provide technical leadership to the team
Mentor and guide the team whenever required
Adhere to the defined SS&MO delivery process/guidelines like Incident Management, Change Management, App Enhancement, Business Service Requests (BSR), SLA Compliance, productivity and other application goals etc.
Participate in Design reviews, Test Case reviews, and Production Support readiness reviews for new releases, provide inputs for Go/No Go decision
Demonstrate as subject matter expertise in his/her chosen functional/application area
Develop innovative approaches on performance optimization & automation
Provide timely updates on tasks to reporting supervisor
Participate in monthly PMR
Participate in various application process initiatives like QMS, CMMI, ISDM, PMR, etc.
Monitor, analyze, debug problems, PLM tasks, providing code fixes & testing
Conduct root cause analysis on all incidents and recommend a corrective action plan
Ensure timely updating of HPSM with resolution data, root cause
Ensure availability over weekends/holidays as per project need
Achieve harmonious working relationships with business partners and within team

Required Qualifications:

B.Tech/MCA/Graduate (Minimum 16 years of formal education, correspondence courses are not relevant)
Total IT experience should be 2.5 + years
Fair knowledge of Java/J2EE, IBM MQ, JSP, Servlets, Spring Framework, Java Script, SOAP/REST Web Services, Maven, along with middle layer app such as IBM WebSphere
Experience with configuration management like SVN, etc.
Exposure to Unit Testing (Plan, Prepare & Execute)
Good exposure of Oracle, SQL & PL/SQL, Unix/Linux, Shell Scripting, etc. with scheduling tools i.e. IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS)
Sound knowledge of SDLC
Self-driven and able to work independently with minimum support/mentoring
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Adaptable to flexible enough to work in any shift as per project demand
Available to travel to US for short term/long term assignment if required

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience of handling of OM applications
Background in healthcare industry applications
US Healthcare Domain knowledge
