Within the Space Security division, the Mojave program is looking for a Software Engineer to join their high-performing, multi-functional team. The qualified individual should have a broad software engineering skillset and be willing to participate in both the development of new features as well as the maintenance of an existing operational system.
The software engineer will be a member of an agile scrum team, participating in daily scrums, bi-weekly sprint planning, release planning, and demonstrations. They must be able to communicate effectively with the team, work through roadblocks and resolve issues quickly. They also should be willing to help where the team needs it, even if it crosses boundaries into hardware or systems engineering occasionally. There is also the potential for travel, if desired. Candidates must possess a current TS clearance with an SSBI within the last 5 years.
- Minimum two-years (2) experience in software development
- Proficient in C# programming language
- Proficient with SQL database
- Experience working on an Agile team, leveraging Scrum, Kanban or other methodologies
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Ability to obtain program-level access
- Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence
- Experience with Horizon
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and work in a collaborative environment
