This position will support the development of semantic based enterprise content management solutions for our commercial and government clients. The candidate should possess strong leadership and technical skills to report the status of the project to the customer and to company management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in teams working on projects by making recommendations on how to improve product quality as well as group productivity.
  • Assists in the modification of company products, customer, and/or internal systems to meet the needs of the client and/or end-user.
  • Implements and contributes to new software design or enhancements to existing software.
  • Assesses impact of changes to applications and systems.
  • Develops integration plans.
  • Adheres to coding standards and naming conventions.
  • Follows Agile software development Standard Operating Procedures and help write and improve software and process documentation.
  • Provides completion estimates of his/her tasks for project scheduling purposes.
  • Develops well-designed and documented software within schedule.
  • Keeps current with latest software development tools and techniques.
  • Conducts quality assurance activities such as peer reviews.
  • Write and execute automated unit, system and integration tests.
  • Takes part in decisions affecting long range organizational goals and strategic planning.
  • Improve and maintain the existing software performance.

Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics
  • Must have US Citizenship due to the nature of our work
  • 5 to 7 years Java development experience and/or object-oriented programming skills
  • 5 to 7 years of experience developing web-based solutions using one or more of the following technologies such as Angular, HTML, JSON, CSS, JavaScript (including libraries and frameworks such as GWT, ExtJS, or D3.js), and REST web services
  • Experience in Single Sign-On methods (OpenID, OAuth, SAML)
  • Experience in Authentication (LDAP, AD, NTLM), and HTTP, HTTPS protocols
  • Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices
  • Experience using one or more leading Integrated Development Environment (IDE)
  • Ability to communicate complex issues with technical peers and non-technical clients.
  • Ability to work in a team environment towards the common objective of meeting client expectations, client commitments, and company profitability goals.
  • Strong analytical skills, creativity, and attention to details.
  • Experience with continuous integration and deployment environments

Desired Qualifications:

  • Cyber domain experience is a plus.
  • Experience in Proxy Servers and Routing mechanism
  • Practical or theoretical knowledge of configuration and issue management tools (such as Subversion/Git and JIRA).
  • Experience in developing Web Services, programming with object oriented and/or declarative languages including experience with XML technologies such as XSLT, XQuery and/or XPath.
  • Working knowledge with Business Process Management (BPM) tools is a plus
