position supports the US Navy's most advanced acoustic modeling capabilities and is based inBethesda, MD
. Must hold acurrent/active DOD Secret Clearance
to be considered.
Primary work will be integrating new capabilities into the US Navy's acoustic target strength modeling software using C#.
Other software tasks will be required as well to support the acoustic prediction effort.
This is an opportunity to work on some of the most advanced scientific / engineering prediction models in the US Navy and positively affect US defense.Qualifications
BS in Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science with 2+ years experience.
Background in C# or similar language with a demonstrated ability to learn new languages.
A background in structures and acoustics is not required but is a plus.
Technical and math background a definite plus.
Requires Active DOD Secret Clearance.
