Applexus "SimpleRetail" is an AI-enabled retail management solution which integrate your online and physical store and easily handles all your core store processes and offers advanced features such as delivery scheduling, 360 customer view, automatic replenishment and customer self-service.

Roles and Responsibilities

Applexus is seeking to hire Software Product Sales Executives responsible for the entire sales cycle from qualified lead generation up until closing of the business. The Sales Manager is responsible to strategize on pipeline development, forecast opportunities, maintaining a healthy sales pipeline, and meet sales targets. You will help drive the sales strategy and vision and will be accountable for its success.

Qualifications: Extensive experience and strong background in selling software products. Travel is required once conditions allow.

  • Expertise in software sales in the US market
  • Proven track record of successfully selling and growing a new product line
  • Adaptable to change in a high-growth environment
  • Strong understanding of technology environment in an enterprise. Exposure to an ERP software (preferably SAP)
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment with people across various functions in a global environment.
  • Outstanding communication and relationship building skills with customer senior executives.
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to analyse, observe and monitor market trends.
  • Ability to articulate the value of a product and do consultative selling suiting the customer's context.
  • Expertise in negotiations
  • Ability to think strategically and develop clear and concise plans for growth

  • Self-driven and motivated, ability to work independently.

The Job Responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing sales strategy and plans to achieve laid out sales targets
  • Qualify prospects as per sales plan, budget and decision making.
  • Generating customer leads, meetings and workshops (2nd meetings) through different sources, including inside sales and other channels
  • Demonstrate and clearly differentiate Applexus products from the competition focusing on our clear and compelling value proposition
  • Drive new product sales from beginning to end
  • Forecasting and delivering against substantial revenue targets and achieve the assigned sales volume
  • Identifying new business opportunities and follow-up on existing business opportunities
  • Working with SAP and our partners to develop leads
  • Working with global and local Marketing, inside sales, product management and sales teams to drive lead generation and awareness
  • Prepare and engage in sales team status meetings.
  • Coordinate with management team and product development team to build and enhance sales presentations.
  • Handle customer presentation, quotes, RFIs and RFPs.
  • Run demos for prospects, develop presentations and adapt sales collateral.
  • Run live and web based presentations.
  • Obtain Market intelligence by tracking industry trends, best practices and dynamically adapt approach towards customer acquisition and growth.
  • Participate in marketing events and conventions in designated territory / markets
