Job Description

THIS POSITION WILL BE ON SITE FOR INITIAL WEEKS OF TRAINING AND THEN WILL MOVE TO REMOTE

Seeking someone with a highly technical infrastructure background to join this team that is responsible for driving all new technology within the company.

This is a highly technical full life cycle position in which you will use a broad technical skill set to handle multiple projects at once. Your technical background should include a strong SIP / VoIP Engineering background as well as solid networking skills with the ability to manage Projects and New Technology efforts. You will help research and manage vendor relationships and present technology options for business needs to Senior Management.  Put together deployment plans, assist in implementations, help with training and handle level 4 technical support. You will need excellent organizational skills and the ability to talk to and present to all levels of the organization.   

This team is responsible for the current solutions used in the field and is paving the way for next generations IT deployments in the following areas:

  • Self Service IVR w/ Artificial Intelligence (Telephony)
  • Mobile Device Management for the Field Workforce (Phones and Tablets)
  • Wi-Fi Service & Wireless Connectivity (Services)
  • Desktop Management (Thin Clients, Windows IoT, Google Chromebook, Virtual Desktops)

Examples of current efforts include:

  • Mobility / Telephony and VoIP – Ring Central Deployment, New Contact Center Technology; VMware Airwatch
  • Security – OKTA Deployment – SSO, Multi factor authentication
  • Next Generation Tablets  - New tablet technology for offices ( 4000 devices )
  • Dell to Lenovo transition
  • New Email technology
  • BYOD deployment –security around BYOD etc…
  • Printing technology deployment
  • MS Azure / Cloud efforts
  • Slack, Zoom, Video technology deployment

BACKGROUND and TARGET SKILLS

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a creative and innovative mind set and the technical skills below:

Networking

  • Strong IP Telephony & Networking experience in deploying services such as:
    • SIP Protocol, IVR, Asterisk, VoIP, QoS, and other communication stack,
    • Twilio
    • Solid understanding of Cisco Routers, Firewalls, Switches, VLANs, & Meraki AP Configuration
    • Understanding of Azure AD, Single Sign On, Multi Factor Authentication
    • Strong Mobile, MDM, BYOD -- Airwatch Enterprise Mobility Manager Solution preferred

Systems/ Mobile

  • Desktops (Dell and Lenovo) Imaging Solutions, Apple & Dell Laptops, Mobile Devices

Programming / Automation

  • PowerShell, VBScript, XML, and Complex Excel Formulas, Automation on any platform
