The Solutions Marketing Manager role is responsible for developing and driving the go-to-market strategy and execution for vertical offerings. Reporting to the Director, Product and Partner Marketing, this person will work with Product Management, Marketing, Field and Partner teams to realize the market opportunity in specific vertical industries. This role requires a passion for identifying business opportunities, recommending and executing marketing tactics for solutions and industries, and measuring results.
Candidates should have a strong record of success in Cloud or software product marketing environments. Most importantly, this position brings significant cross-functional responsibility and candidates should have demonstrated the capacity to bring teams together to achieve significant goals.
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
5+ years of industry / solutions marketing experience with demonstrated success in SaaS or application software.
Proven track record of developing repeatable go-to-market strategies for products or solutions.
Experience in Healthcare and/or Life Sciences required; other industry marketing experience such as Higher Education, Retail, Manufacturing, or Wholesale Distribution preferred.
Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills; must be a confident public speaker.
Ability to work across organizational lines, command respect, and influence without authority.
Highly skilled at critical decision-making; ability to evaluate business issues and resolve problems; ability to develop and write a business plan.
Must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy plus marketing creativity.
