Job Description

Overview

The Sr. Customer Engagement Manager will manage and develop new and existing clients and work towards strengthening our relationships and increasing Vistex footprint. They will engage with clients, position and aggressively pursue Vistex services and will be assigned to multiple clients simultaneously which could be in various regions of the country. This person will be actively involved in all Go-to-Market Suite service sales activities including discoveries, RFPs, SOWs and also communicate knowledge and information accurately to the project delivery teams once project has been sold. This position will be hands on along with eventually managing a team of customer engagement managers to ensure we meet our service sales targets.   

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for expanding Vistex consulting service offerings for Go-to-Market Suite
  • Build client relationships with C Level executives and stakeholders
  • Understand client’s business and business processes and act as Vistex advocate to address the existing gaps by selling Vistex implementation services
  • Position and assist in upselling additional Vistex software and services
  • Develop sales and solution strategies for Go-to-Market Suite service sales
  • Understand and work with different teams to provide solution roadmap to clients
  • Responsible for maintaining and managing Salesforce entries for all Go-to-Market Suite service opportunities.
  • Actively involved in pre-sales activities for implementation services including discovery calls with prospects, solutions demos, RFPs and SOWs
  • Responsible for onsite presentation decks, project proposal decks, estimating and SOW creation and signing
  • Responsible for following and improving the services sales process to streamline the sales process from discovery of lead to final closing

Qualifications

  • Exceptional organizational, inter personal, client facing and communication skills required
  • 8+ years of Software Service Sales experience
  • Experience in RFPs, contracts and SOWs required
  • Exposure to multiple full lifecycle software implementations
  • Ability to link business processes with products/solutions
  • Experience is SAP service sales is a plus
  • Experience in selling SAAS/cloud software service is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Experience working with Big 4 or other large consulting firms is preferred
  • Experience working in consulting services preferred
  • Knowledge in various industries is a plus
  • Ability to adapt to changing schedules and multiple work plans
  • Willingness to travel 25%
