Stefanini Group is Looking for a Sr.DevOps Engineer in CA.
Work with the Clients National IT Cloud organization to identify patterns of usage and build templates for VSTS commercial usage and TFS for Government Cloud Usage Help with Project Migrations from and to different versions of TFS Create new naming standards for Team Projects, Build definitions and Labels Support deployments to all Production and non-Production environments.
Customize Process Template to include new work item types, user groups and Security changes Perform Post Production Merges and Builds Customize TFSBuild.proj build files for various projects.
Perform and deploy Builds for various environments like QA, Integration, UAT and Production Design and develop Cloud Service projects and deploy to Web Apps, PaaS, and IaaS. Implement 2FA and Role based authentication mechanisms using Windows Azure Active Directory Setup new TFS-Git Repositories for versioning control, CodeFlow for code review Support Release Engineering activities including coordinating with dev-ops, information security and DBA teams to ensure successful deployments of new planned releases and patches to services.
As a customer advocate you'll use your in-depth domain knowledge as you participate in planning and rollout of new features, and plan to meet immediate and long term customer requirements and innovations.
Bachelor s degree in Programming/Systems or Computer Science or other related field or equivalent work experience.
5+ years working in Release Management in a .NET environment. Preference is extensive knowledge of TFS and MSBuild (familiarity with Roselyn and Visual Build Professional a plus).
5+ years of technology project and/or application services project experience of medium complexity, especially on projects following a system development or project management process in a customer support, development or QA role.
Excellent oral and written communications skills, including the ability to communicate clearly, influence and negotiate with all levels of staff and customers in different disciplines; strong interpersonal skills and organizational skills are needed.
Deep understanding of web services, web applications, Windows services from deployment, troubleshooting, maintaining and monitoring perspectives.
Working knowledge of XML, JSON, and REST.
Working knowledge of using online tools to solve interoperability problems (Fiddler or other proxy tools are highly familiar tools used daily).
Ability to work independently, and perform tasks of moderate to high complexity, which requires knowledge of technical and business environments.
Demonstrated ability to work on several competing requests at one time and manage concurrent tasks with minimal direction.
Preferred skills: Prior experience in interoperability testing Prior experience in metadata management concepts and tools Prior experience with onboarding partners and customers in a SOA environment
